I had a discussion with , who is a friend of mine here at DA (if you haven't checked out her gallery as of yet, then shame on you... ). The discussion concerned the use of tentacles in many artists hentai pictures. During said discussion, I used the terminology "tasteful tentacle hentai" which has since been brewing in my brain over the past several days.
Anyway, I came up with the above cartoon one night on my drive home from work. Figured a cultured tentacle monster would have to wear a bow-tie and the cheerleader looked like the typical hentai school girl who would be taken advantage of by said tentacle monster... Enjoy!
I won't ask where you managed to get a Tentacled Twinky from! Mister Pseudopods and the little Goth girl look like such a sweet couple!
(And actually, there are a couple of artists - Luis Royo and Dorian Cleavenger come to mind - who do erotic and consensual art featuring women and monsters...)
Thanks, M! I'm pleased that you both enjoyed the cartoon and appreciated the humor of it. It's amazing what'll go through your mind as you drive home at 2 in the morning after working a double-shift...
Anyway, I'll need to check out those artists that you recommended. Would be interested to see what some of their works look like.
Cheers!

Your picture was a clever and original take on an old cliche. I just love your slightly twisted sense of humour!
Cleavenger and Royo are great artists, and should be easy to Google online. They do broadly pin-up art, but it's very thought-provoking and atmospheric. Luis Royo has a punk/goth feel to his works, and as an unashamed Indie Chick, I love that!
Ooow! Excellent recommendations on Cleavenger and Royo!
I got a chance to check out some of their works online, and they were pretty impressive. I found that I was actually familiar with a number of Cleavenger's pieces (but never really knew who the artist was that had done them). Wasn't as familiar with any of Royo's work, but could definitely see the goth/punk feel that you mentioned. Great stuff!

Thay have always been some of my favourites. Glad I could pass them on!
Actually looking at your Alaska pictures, it gave me an idea for a background for a friend who is doing some digital rendering for me of some computer game characters... I might put that up on my DA page, even if it's not actually by me (should be okay as long as I credit my friend, I think).
